Hawaii LLC Filing Fees: Every 2026 Number
Hawaii's fees come with a quirk: almost every figure has two correct answers. The fee schedule shows one number, and the counter collects one dollar more, because a $1 State Archives preservation fee attaches to filings that become permanent records. Below is each fee both ways, followed by what our services run.
Forming the LLC: $50 on the Schedule, $51 Collected
Hawaii has no Secretary of State; formation paperwork goes to the DCCA Business Registration Division (BREG). The Articles of Organization, Form LLC-1, carry a $50 filing fee, and with the $1 archives fee the true amount paid is $51. Optional expedited review adds $25.
Staying Registered: the Form C5 Annual Report
Each year after the year of formation, your LLC files Form C5. The fee is $12.50 online or $15 by mail, plus the $1 archives fee. The due date is the last day of the quarter in which the LLC was organized. File late and the penalty can reach $100 for every 30 days of delinquency; two full years without a report and the state can dissolve the company.

The General Excise Tax
